Brownstown Banner - 1 Aug 1895
Phillips, Mary B. – Houston news – Mrs. Mary B. Phillips, aged 72 years, 4 
months and 14 days, died last Thursday, July 25, at the residence of her son, 
Charles W. Phillips, three and a half miles east of town. Interment beside her 
husband in the cemetery at this place. Deceased was born in Bucks Co., 
Pennsylvania. She and her husband and 4 children moved to this vicinity 
several years ago. She leaves 1 daughter and 3 sons.
