Obituary for Sarah A. Thompson, Date of death - 27 Oct 1895

 

PRUITT, Sally A. – Houston news – Mrs. Sally A. Pruitt died at the residence 
of her son, Dunham Pruitt, Sun., Oct. 27, with disease of the throat resulting 
in consumption. She was a daughter of the late Rev. Andrew Thompson, and a 
sister of Chas. W. Thompson, of this place. She leaves 3 children, Martin, of 
Ark., Mrs. Hester Guthrie, of Iowa; and Dunham, of this place; also 6 brothers 
and 1 sister survive her. Deceased was born in Lawrence County, Dec. 14, 1836. 
Burial in the Thompson burial ground.
