Lockman news: Died Aug. 29 at the home of her son-in-law, John W. Cummings, of
this place, Mrs. Margaret Strutton. She was a daughter of George Waggoner, and
was born in Kentucky, Feb. 10, 1817, and moved with her parents to this county
at the early age of 5 years. She married Hezekiah Strutton and to them were born
4 children, 2 of whom survive  her. Burial beside her husband in the Beck's
Grove Cemetery.
Houston news: Mrs. Elizabeth Noe and Mrs. J.C. Cummings are the only surviving
children of Margaret Strutton.
