Thompson, 54, of Main street, Fletcher, was pronounced dead on arrival at Piqua Memorial hospital after suffering a heart attache at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence. The deceased was born Oct. 24, 1900 in Castle Rock, Colo., the son of Virgil and Fressa Price Thompson, both deceased. Mr. Thompson formerly resided near Piqua for many years, moving to Fletcher two years ago after the death of his mother. He was employed as a salesman for his brother, Robert who resides in Akron. He was a member of the Fletcher Methodist church and during World War I, he served in the United States navy. Surviving are his wife, Josephine; two sons, Robert and Joseph; the brother of Akron; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fletcher Methodist church. Rev. K. Albert Kuntzman will officiate. Burial will be in Fletcher cemetery. Friends may call at the Suber funeral home, Fletcher, from Monday evening until time of the services.
