This Indenture made this nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and thirty four between Richard Loring and Cyntha his 
wife of the county of Jefferson and State of Indiana of the first part and 
Nathaniel Rector of the county and state aforesaid of the second part 
witnesseth that the said Richard Loring and Cyntha his wife for and in 
consideration of the sum of one hundred and forty Dollars lawful money of the 
United states to them in hand well and truly paid by the Said Nathaniel Rector 
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have granted bargained sold aliened 
released conveyed and confirmed and by these present do grant bargain sell 
alien release convey and confirm unto the said Nathaniel Rector his heirs and 
assigns forever the East half of the South West quarter of Section two in 
township four north of Range nine East which aforesaid quarter and patented to 
the said Richard Loring as assigned of Nathaniel Wallace of Franklin county 
Indiana and of Lands Directed to be sold at Jeffersonville.  
And all the & State right title interest claim and demand of them the said 
Richard Loring and Cynthia his wife of in and to the said premises and my part 
thereof together with all and singular the privileges and appertances to the 
same belonging to or any wise appertaining and the rents issues and profits 
thereof to have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold or meant or 
intended so to be with the appertances to the only proper use and behoof of 
the said Nathaniel Rector his heirs and assigns forever  and the said Richard 
Loring and Cyntha his wife their heirs executors and administrators do 
covenant promise and agree to and with Nathaniel Rector his heirs executors 
administrators and assigns that they are the true and lawful owners of the 
premises hereby granted and have good right full power and lawful authority to 
sell and convey the same in manners and form aforesaid and further that they 
the said Richard Loring and Cyntha his wife their heirs executors and 
administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises and with 
their appertanances and any part and parcel thereof unto the said Nathaniel 
Rector his heirs and assigns against all persons claiming and to claim from or 
under them or any of them or by them under any other person or persons 
whomsoever In redress whereof the said Richard Loring together with Cyntha 
Loring wife of said Richard who hereby freely relinquishes all her right and 
claim of dower of and to the premises & have hereunto set their hands seals 
the day and year first above written.
