Had an eye shot out a year ago last Apr by a playmate shooting with a bow & arrow & on purpose, who shot in spite of his other playmates telling him not to shoot. I did not notice that it was out until his mother told me. He was taking the milk to town to market. They are a mile & a half from town & have 20 A in the tract which they rent & which is improved with a good though odd shaped brick house on a slight elevation 200 ft back from right hand side of road. There is 100 acres around it which is being improved by the State as a State Park. Mrs Rodarmel is a large fleshy woman. She thinks that her husband, Charles A., was a second cousin of John A., the son of Sam'l A. & the father of Firman & used to visit them. She says that John A. Rodarmel at present living at Wheatland was or is the son of John B. Rodarmel who was a first cousin of her "daddy in law, Friend S. Rodarmel". She said John A. Rodarmel at Wheatland had a sister Laura, but she don't know who she married. They can't tell whether his father, John B. had any sisters or brothers or not.
