Johnson County Indiana Taken from the “ Log Cabin” newspaper, Harrison County KY. Issue # 45, Friday, November 5, 1915 HYATT Mr. Geo. W. HYATT, a venerable and highly respected citizen, died of the infirmities of old age last Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. C. H. LEE, at Colville. Deceased was the son of the late William and Hannah HYATT, and was born on Jany.1, 1833, in Johnson county, Indiana. On Jany.1, 1859, his twenty-sixth birthday, he married Miss Rebecca Ellen RICHEY, of Nicholas county, she dying about eight years ago. The surviving children are Mrs. Silas HOWARD, of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. James RICHEY, of Bourbon county, Mrs. C.H. LEE, of Harrison county; John HYATT, of Nicholas county, F.M. and French HYATT of this county; and Mrs. J.W. HILL of Missouri. Deceased Children are William and Iva HYATT. Mr. HYATT joined the Methodist church twenty-three years ago and has been an earnest consecrated Christian. By precept and example his influence was for righteousness, and in his family circle he daily conducted family worship, which he continued up until the day before his death. Truly, a good man has gone to his reward. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. MOORE of Nicholas county, assisted by Z. W. LEE, were held at the Mt. Pleasant church in Nicholas county Monday, and the remains were buried in the Mt.
