Rush Commits Suicide at His Home SOuth of Elkhart - Jesse C. Rush, aged 64 years, a farmer residing 3 miles south of Elkhart, committed suicide Monday morning by shooting himself through the heart. Long continued ill health is supposed to be the cause of his rash act. His son and the hired man found him immediately after the deed was committed. He had pulled up his vest and shirt to bare his breast, and deliberately fired through his heart, the bullet being a 32 calibre short. The revolver was lying at his side. It belonged to his son. Temporary aberration of the mind caused by continued brooding over his illness was the cause of his killing himself.
