WOMAN FAILS IN SUICIDE ATTEMPT

Despondent over an illness of two months duration, Mrs. John Noble, 2173 
Jefferson Street, Gary, failed in a suicide attempt last night when she 
swallowed the contents of a partly filled bottle of lysol.  She was rushed to 
St. Antonio hospital where antidotes were administered and her life saved.  
Her husband told police that they had no trouble and that he could give no 
reason for her act unless it was because of her being under the treatment of a 
physician.
