FUNERAL OF MRS. BAIRD

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Howard Baird, well known in Hammond, who 
died at her home in Boone Grove, Porter county, last Thursday morning wil be 
held tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Boone Grove Christian Church where Rev. M. G. 
Long, of the South Side Christian church in Hammond, will officiate.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Frank Lessig, of Hammond; Mrs. Carl 
Augustine, of Hammond; Mrs. Marie Brown, Mrs. Hubert Thatcher and sons, Clyde 
Baird, Lewis Baird and Ervin Baird, formerly of Hammond.

The deceased spent her entire life in Porter county where she was active in 
community affairs.  She will be buried in the Graceland cemetery, Valparaiso.
