Mrs. Martha (Karr) Brom        
                 (July 7, 1903  -  Sept 28, 1988)

A long time resident of Hammond Indiana.  She passed away at
the age of 85, Sept 28, 1988. Mrs Martha (Karr) Brom was a
long time native of Lake County Indiana. Survivors include
and Two Daughters Mrs. Janet (John Kaiser) of Pittsburgh, PA,
and Marilyn (Thomas Reed) of Connecticut. 
Four Grandchildren Evan and Eric Kaiser. And Jennifer & Justin
Reed. Four surviving Brothers = Arthur Karr of Delray Beach, FL.
Bernard Karr of Chicago, IL. Walter Karr of Griffith, Indiana
and Martin H. Karr of Hammond. 
She was preceded in death by her two husbands. 1st husband
Albert Lindholm  and second husband Joseph Brom in 1959. Also
two brothers Charles and John Karr, plus one  sisters Emma Karr. 
Her Parents Martin Karr Sr. and  Centi (Hessler) Karr of Calumet
City Illinois, preceded her in death. 
Funeral services will be held Oct 8, at the 1st United Lutheran
Church.
Mrs. Brom was a member of the First United Lutheran Church of
Hammond, IN. She retired from NIPSCO  Gas and Ele with 20 years
of service.

Funeral Service will be held Oct 8, 1988 at the Clarence Huber
Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in
Hammond.
