Lake County Indiana Obit of Alice Dixon Submitted by Martha Little Email- mwlittle@mindspring.com Lake County IN Obituary               Mrs. E(liza) Alice (Colebourn) Dixon Mrs. E. Alice Dixon, 70, of 6326 Garfield, Hammond (IN), local resident for 26 years, died today (December 2, 1946) at 7:20am in St. Margaret Hospital.  She was ill for two months. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  The body may be viewd after 7pm tomorrow in the Neidow Funeral Home, Hammond. Mrs. Dixon, a member of St Paul Episcopal Church, was affiliated with the Hammond chapter of Eastern Star. She is survivied by two daughters, Mrs. Harriet Herzfeldt and Mrs. Alice Robinson of Hammond; a son, Charles R Dixon of Hammond; two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Brewer of Washington DC and Mrs. Mary Kelley of Wilkensburg PA; a brother Charles of Wilkensburg; and six grandchildren. xxxxxxx Last rites will be held Thursday at 2pm in the St Paul Episcopal Church for Mrs. E. Alice Dixon, 70, of 6326 Garfield, Hammond, who died yesterday in St Margaret Hospital.  Rev Peter Langendorff and Rev Willard Yoder will officiate.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
