Kellie Fannin, age 17, passed away Sunday, May 27, 1979, due to a motocycle 
accident.  Survivors: mother, Marcella (Donald) Babcock of Hammond; father 
Millard (Norma Jean) Fannin of Davenport, Iowa; two sisters, Debra Lang of 
Portage, Robin Hocott of Dyer; three step-brothers, Donald (Mary Ann) Babcock 
Jr. of Hobart, Dean Babcock of Bloomington, David (Judy) Babcock of Hammond; 
maternal grandparents, Walter and Marie Pecher of Hammond; paternal 
grandparents, Millard and Velma Fannin of Hammond.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 10a.m. at Solan Funeral Home, 
7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, with rEv. Louis Reynolds, of the Hyde Park  
Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial, Elmwood Cemetery.  Vistation 
Wednesday, 6 to 9p.m. in lieu of flowers memorial to the Hyde Park Methodist 
Church would be appreciated.
Miss Fannin wa a lifelong resident of Hammond.  She attended Gavit High 
School. Was employed at the Blue Top Drive-in as a car hop.
