Mr. Martin Herman Karr 
                    (March 30, 1906 - Dec 4, 1990)

At the age of 84 Mr. Martin H. Karr  passed away Dec 4, 1990 
at home with his family.  Martin H. Karr was a native of Lake
County Indiana for over 60 years.
Mr. Karr was retired from Pullman Standard, where he worked
for over 40 years in Hammond Indiana.
Survivors include:  One Son Dennis Lee Karr and One Daughter
Kathleen S. Karr. Three surviving  Brothers= Arthur Karr of
Delray Beach, FL.    Bernard Karr of Chicago, IL and  Walter
Karr of Griffith, Indiana. 
He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine (Hess) Karr who
he was married for over 39 years.  Two brothers Charles and
John Karr, plus two Sisters Emma Karr  and  Martha Brom. 
His Parents Martin Karr Sr. and Centi (Hessler) Karr of Calumet
City Illinois, also preceded him in death. 
Funeral Service will be held Dec 8, 1990 at the Clarence Huber
Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in
Hammond.
