Mrs. ROSE KERTEZ, wife of Detective Sergeant Joseph L.
Kertez of the Gary Police Department, died at 7:15 o'clock
this morning at the home, 3886 Massachusetts St., following
an illness of several months.

Mrs. Kertez leaves 8 children ranging in age from 4 to 17 years. 
The husband, Joseph L. Kertesz, has been connected with the
local police department for 11 years.

The funeral will be held at 9:00 Tuesday morning at the Hungarian
Roman Catholic Church and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetary.
