JOSEPH LENGYEL, SR.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Joseph Lengyel, Sr. 65, 
of 4840 Carey St., East Chicago, who dies Saturday night in St. 
Catherine's hospital. Lengyel, a retired mill worker suffered a 
paralytie stroke a week ago and succumbed Saturday at 3:45 p.m. 
He resided in East Chicago for the past 45 years.
Survivors including 6 sons, Joseph, James, Mike, Paul, Louise, and 
William, three daughters, Mrs. Lester Victor, Mrs. Vera Gray, and 
Mrs. Wilford Anderson the latter two of Black Oak, two sisters, Mrs. 
Anna Somets and Mrs. Eva Hedgues, both of Connecticut, and 26 grand-
children. Rev. Joseph Sipos will officiate at funeral services to 
be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from Huber's Chapel and at 9:30 a.m. 
from the Holy Trinity Hungarian Church. Interment will be in St. 
John's cemetery. The body lies at the chapel.
