JOSEPH LANGEL

Joseph Langel, 63 of 7240 Black Oak Rd., Gary, died Sunday in 
Methodist Hospital, Gary. Mr. Langel was a carpenter. Surviving 
are his wife Ruth; four sons, Eugene of Highland, Dean and Edward 
of Hammond, and Leroy of Portage; four daughters, Mrs. Darlene 
Boling of Highland, Mrs. Sylvia Partain of Sauk Village, Mrs. Elva 
Gibbs of Black Oak, and Mrs, Ruth Solivais of Gary; three brothers, 
Micheal Lengyel of Whiting, Paul Langel of Hammond and Louis Langel 
of Gary; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Victor of Highland and Mr. Pearl 
Anderson of Black Oak.and 35 grandchildren. Services will be held 
at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Deelenbach Funeral Chapel,2580 Colfax St. 
Gary. The Rev. William Myers will officiate. Burial will be at 
Chapel Lawn Memoral Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel from 
7-10 p.m. today and from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. Tuesday.
