Obituary from Gary Post Tribune, Sunday, March 10, 1963, p. C-8:
   Curtis, Luther J. - Age 84, of 303 Roosevelt St., passed away
Saturday, March 9, 1963, at Mercy Hospital.  He was a retired employe of
U.S. Steel, a member of Holy Angels Cathedral and the Holy Name
Society.   Brother of the late Judge Harvey Curtis.   Survivors are:
wife, Elizabeth; 4 stepdaughters, Sister Joseph Marie, C.S.J. Cleveland,
Ohio, Sister Frances Therese C.S.J. Cleveland, Ohio, formerly Lucy and
Helen Philgren, Mrs. Frank J. Kelly of Gary, Mrs. Kenneth Wiseman of
Santa Cruz, Calif; 12 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren.   Funeral
services from Burns Memorial Chapel, Monday, March 11, at 8:30 a.m. to
Holy Angels Cathedral for services at 9:30 a.m.  Rev. Vincent Lengerich
officiating.   Interment Calvary Cemetery.   Rosary will be recited by
the Holy Name Society, Sunday, 8 p.m.   Friends may call Saturday 7 p.m.
to 10 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
