Michael A. Mahns, 48, of Evergreen, Colorado, formerly of Griffith, IN. passed 
away Sunday, January 21, 1996.  He is survived by wife; one son; two 
daughters; one grandson; five sisters; step mother.  Preceded in death by 
brother, Robert E., parents, Ada Bigelow and Robert R. Mahns.
Mr. Mahns was an engineer at U.S. West for 25 years.
Funeral services were held from the Evergreen Memorial Park chapel in 
Evergreen, Colorado on Wednesday, January 24, 1996
