PATRICIA F. MAHNS CEDAR LAKE, IN. Patricia F. Mahns, age 76 of cedar Lake, 
formerly of Hammond, passed away on tuesday, Oct 20, 2009. Pat was a member of 
OLC, St. Vincent DePaul Society and Beta Sigma Phi soroity. She was a local 
artisit, teaching classes at the Cedar Lake and Munster Libraries. Pat was a 
member of the Ukulele Strummers of Highland. She was always willing to leand a 
helping hand. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mahns; and five 
children. She is survived by one daughter; one grandson; one brother; and 
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 
held on Friday, Oct 23, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 101001 
Broadway, Crown Point, IN going to Our Lady of Consolation, 8303 Taft Street, 
Merrillville, IN for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Unavailable 
officiating. Services will terminate at the church with cremation at the Burns 
Funeral Home Crematory. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral 
Home on thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
