Hammond Times/ 21 Mar 1971
Dale Mahns, age 7, of 7605 Jarnecke Ave., passed away Saturday, March 20 at 
St. Margaret Hospital.  Survivors: parents, Gerald and Unavailable Mahns, Mr. 
Mahns is employed by the Hammond city Fire Department; two brothers; one 
sister; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Flaherty of Hammond; paternal 
grandmother, Mrs. Elvera Keilman of Hammond; several aunts and uncles.  
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 24, 9:30 a.m. at Solan Funeral Home, 
7109 Calumet Ave., 10 a.m.  Mass of the Holy Angles at St. John Bosco Church 
with Msgr. Unavailable celebrating the mass.  Burial St. Joseph's Cemetery.  
Friends may call Monday evening 7 to 10; Tuesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Dale 
Mahns was a student at Woodrow Wilson School.
