She is survived by four daughters, Elaine Oglesby of Hammond, Marcella (Don) Babcock of Hammond, Corinne Mahns of Hammond and Walda (Bill) Dryer of Texas; one son, Wayne Pecher of Dyer; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; four brothers, Barney Linnett of South Holland, Alex Konopka of Hegewisch, Stephen and Frank Konopka both of Illinois; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Wlater Pecher in 1988. Funeral services Wednesday, May 5th, 1:00 p.m. at the Solan Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond with Rev. Grace Free officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Visitation Tuesday 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mrs. Pecher was a resident of Hammond for the past 60 years; she was formerly employed at the Arthur Anderson Accounting Company and also Marshall Fields; member of the A.A.R.P.
