John Reves Submitted by Richard Siegel Email - richard.siegel1@worldnet.att.net Lake County Obit The Times, East Chicago/Indiana Harbor, Tuesday, June 3, 1930, Pg. 6, col. 3 Death of an Old Settler - John Reves, one of the original settlers of the Indiana Harbor district, and a resident of the Twin City for 30 years, passed away at his home at 3731 Main st., yesterday afternoon after a fatal seizure in which he lived for two hours. The aged man had worked for the Inland Steel company for 24 years and had been retired for the past three. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Kovacs of 2008 Broadway and Mrs. Mary Kozare of 3731 Main st., and nine grandchildren in Indiana Harbor. Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity church at 148th and Alexander ave., tomorrow morning at 10:00 o'clock with a high requiem mass at which Rev. Joseph Toth will officiate.
