Age 74 passed away Wed. Dec. 10, 1997 at the Highland Nursing Home.
He is survived by:
Wife:  Mary (nee) WARD wife of 52 years
Daughter:   Jayna (Alan) HARKABUS of Highland
Daughter:   Patricia (Frank) STANEK of Decatur, Mi.
Son:   James (Charlene) SIMKO
Son:   Christopher SIMKO
Son:   Mark SIMKO    all of Whiting
Ten grandchildren, one great grandchild
Sister:  Mary (late Joseph) PAPES of Munster
Baran Funeral Home, Mass at St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church Whiting with Rev. John E. Kalicky
C.PP S. officiating.
Mr. SIMKO was a lifelong resident of Whiting, member
of St. John's, The Roosevelt Club, A WWII Army veteran
and a retiree of Welsh Bros. Trucking, Hammond.
