Heckman laportecountyin@yahoo.com July 26, 2009, 10:38 am Michigan City New Dispatch January 2, 1964 pg.# 8 Co.# 1 BLOOMHUFF, ORVAL Ovral Wesley Bloomhuff, 70, 1308 1/2 Ohio St., died at 4 a.m.a yesterday at his home. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carlisle Funeral Home, Rev. Hilton Whitaker, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow afternoon and evening and Saturday until the hour of the service. Mr. Bloomhuff was born May 10, 1893, in Valparaiso, the son of the late John W. and Caroling Bauer Bloomhuff and had lived here four years. He had retired in 1954 as a baker at Mayburh Hospital, Detroit, Mich. He was amarried Jan., 6, 1915, in this city, to Mary Hood who survives. Also surviving are six sons, John, Destin, Fla., Warren, Cleveland, Ohio, Robert, Plymouth, Mich. James, Oscala, Fla., Donald Farmington, Mich., and Richard, Northville, Mich.; a daugter Norma Underwood , this city,; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a sister, Alice Hilkert, this city. Mr. Bloomhuff was a member at the First Methodist Church, Plymouth, INd., and the Masonic Lodge at Capse, Mich. contributed by: Laura J.
