BROTHER Of Tyree Bowman Died At His Home At Sandborn Saturday Of Pneumonia 
FUNERAL WAS TUESDAY
Tyree Bowman and son who were called to Sandborn by the death of his brother 
Isaac Bowman one of the most prominent citizens of that place returned home 
last night. 
    Mr. Bowman was stricken with double pneumonia to which he succumbed 
Saturday.  He was born in Jackson county.  The past few years he has driven 
the school hack bringing the school children from the rural districts all of 
whom grew to be very fond of him and as a tribute to his memory the schools 
were dismissed for the funeral and in the large crowd of relatives that filled 
the house and yard yesterday afternoon there were no more sincere mourners 
than these school children.  The business men also closed their business 
houses during the funeral hour. 
    He is survived by the widow, one son, and Mrs. Sarah Jane Summa, sister in 
Corpus Christi, Texas and four brothers, Bruce and Riley Bowman of 
Heltonville, Scott Bowman, of Sandborn, David Bowman of Becks Grove, Brown 
County and Tyree Bowman of this city.
