Lawrence Co. Marriage Book C, p. 170
STATE OF INDIANA, LAWRENCE COUNTY SS:   BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 22nd 
day of November 1848, the following marriage license was issued, to wit:  
State of Indiana Lawrence County, ss:  To any person by law empowered to 
solemnize marriages, Greeting:  You are hereby authorized to join together as 
husband and wife Joseph Mundell and Sarah Ann Peed, and this shall be your 
warrant for the same.  Witness my hand and seal of office, at Bedford, this 
22nd day of November A.D., 1848, Signed: Gustavus Clark, Clerk L.C.C.

Note:  Marriage return not recorded with date of marriage.
