STATE OF INDIANA, LAWRENCE COUNTY, SS:

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 13th day of March 1838, the following Marriage 
License was issued, to wit:
THE STATE OF INDIANA: to any person empowered by law to solemnize marriage 
Greeting: You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife, 
Jedediah Hunter and Rachel A Sipes and this shall be your warrant for the 
same.  Witness my hand and Seal of Office, at Bedford, this 13th day of March, 
A.D. 1838.  Signed: Robert Mitchell, Clerk

BE IT FURTHER REMEMBERED, That on this 15th day of March 1838, the following 
certificate was filed in my office, to wit:
STATE OF INDIANA, LAWRENCE COUNTY, SS:  I certify that on the 15th day of 
March, 1838, Jedediah Hunter and Rachel A. Sipes were joined together as 
Husband and Wife by me.   Signed: Matthew Borland, J.P.
