All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/in/infiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Patricia A Johnson busterb8805@msn.com June 22, 2008, 9:48 am Written: September 19, 1839 Recorded: May 9, 1841 Madison County Indiana Deed Book 6 Page 522 Cochran, David to VanBuskirk, Juliann This indenture made the nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine between David Cochran and Phebe Cochran his wife of Madison County Indiana, of the first part and Juliann VanBuskirk of the County and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said David Cochran and Phebe Cochran his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred eighty five dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand ___ truly paid by the said Juliann Van Buskirk the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto said Julian Van Buskirk her heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land situate in the County of Madison and State of Indiana and particularly designated as the South West quarter of the North East quarter in Section number Ten in Township number Nineteen North of Range number Six East containing forty acres be the same more or less, And the estate, right, title, interest, claims and demands of the said David Cochran & Phebe Cochran his wife of in and to the said premises and every part thereof together with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging _____ ____ __________ and the rents, issues, and profits thereof to have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold ____ meant or intended so to be with appurtenances to the only _---- and behoof of the said Julian Van Buskirk her heirs and assigns forever, and the said David Cochran & Phebe Cochran his wife __________________ heirs, executors and administrators do covenant promise and agree to and with the said Julian Van Buskirk, her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns ___ that they are the true and lawful owners of the premises hereby granted and have good right, full powers, and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner and for aforesaid, and further that they rthe said David Cochran, Phebe Cochran his wife their heirs, executors, and administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises with ___ appurtenances and every part and parcel; therewof unto the said Julian Van Buskirk her heirs and assigns against all persons lawfully claiming or to obtain by, from or under them or by from or under any other person whom soever ___ ______ whereof the said David Cochran & Phebe Cochran his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
