Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two Hundred and Thirty dollars lawful money ___ United States to him in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said party of the first part hath granted bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate in the County of Madison aforesaid known and designated as the South half of the Southwest qtr Section No. Four Township No. Nineteen North of Range No. Six East, containing Eighty acres more or less to have and to hold the above described premises, hereby sold and conveyed unto the said JohnVan Buskirk his heirs and assigns forever together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or __ appurtenances to his own proper use and behoof. And said Joseph McCormack for himself, his executors and administrators the aforesaid lot or tract of land and appurtenances to the said JohnVan Buskirk his _ and administrators against the claim or claims of all and every whatsoever will warrant and defend. In testimony whereof the said Joseph McCormack and Fanny his wife ______________________ ________________relinquishes her right of dower in and to the above described premises. Have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.
