Alexandria Times-Tribune, July 13, 1906
Kenneth Leroy Babcock, fourteen months old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude 
Babcock, West Madison street, died at 5 o'clock last evening at the home.  
Death resulted from accidental scalding.  The body was taken this afternoon 
over the Big Four to Silver Lake, where funeral service will be held tomorrow 
at the home of Mr. Babcock's parents.
