FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MARION RESIDENT HERE
Funeral services for Oscar Julius, 58, former Elwood resident, who died at the 
home of his brother, William Julius at Marion, Monday evening of tuberculosis, 
will be conducted at the East Main street Christian church Thursday morning at 
10:30 o’clock by the pastor, Rev. V. Hayes Miller, and burial will be made in 
the city cemetery.     Mr. Julius was born in Elwood and spent several years 
in this city.  He will be well remembered by several local residents.  He was 
known as an industrious man and was held in high esteem by his friends.     
Surviving are three brothers, William Julius of Marion, at whose home he died; 
Austin Julius, living southwest of Elwood near Aroma; and Gilbert Julius, of 
Matthews, and two sisters, Mrs. Susan Hains, of Mishawake, and Mrs. Lottie 
Myers, of Summitville.
