With a view of the train cut off and evidently taken unaware because of the noise of his wagon, Justice drove onto the track directly in front of the speeding train. Both the man and his team were killed and the wagon was demolished. The train was stopped and returned to the scene of the tragedy, where the man was found with life extinct. The body was brought to this city in the baggage car and returned to Reed’s Station on the eastbound train shortly afterward. Justice was a farmer, thirty-five years old, and leaves a wife and one child. Additional Comments: Name should be Morton Justice.
