MARYSTANLEY YESTERDAYMrs. Mary S. Stanley, age 73, widow of the late George Stanley, died at 5:20 a.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Quincy Hoppes, near the Scatterfield school house. Mrs. Stanley had been ill several months. Death was due to heart trouble. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, with services at the Hoppes residence and burial in the Painter cemetery near Middletown. Mrs. Stanley is survived by six children, three sons and three daughters: Orville Stanley, of Fallcreek township, Thomas Stanley and Nelson Stanley, residing in this city; Mrs. Emma Frye, of Muncie; Mrs. Bertha Snodgrass, of Cammack, and Mrs. Quincey Hoppes. Two sisters and one brother also survive: Mrs. Lou Poulson, of Hartford City; Mrs. Martha Bowman of Muncie, and A. D. Lake, of Leota, Kansas. Mrs. Stanley was born in Ohio and moved to Indiana with her parents in 1852, locating near Daleville. She moved to this city in 1900 and the death of her husband occurred the following year.
