A resident of Elwood for 37 years, he formerly was employed at the tinplate mill here for many years and later was employed for some time at the city sewage disposal plant while Elmer Tunis was mayor. Surviving are the widow, Lula; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Woodlock, Henryville; Mrs. Hazel Shubnell, Bennettsville; Mrs. Mabel Gardner, Elwood; and Mrs. Merle Culbertson, Alexandria; two sons, Edgar Tyndall, Crown Point, and Jesse Tyndall, Hobart; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Tyndall was born at Anderson, Ky. Nov. 21, 1873, and on Aug 8, 1895 he married Lula Driskell. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. The body was taken to the Robert L. Jackley funeral home. Arrangements for rites were not completed. Jackley funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Dee Henderson, Alexandria, in charge. Burial will be in Knox Chapel cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
