Mrs. Walker was born October 4, 1844, near New Lancaster and has always resided in this community. She was twice married, her second husband dying about five years ago. Soon after his death she suffered a fall in which she broke her hip and has been in feeble health since. She had made her home with her children since that time. Besides the son at Eaton she is survived by five other children: D. A. Julius, of Madison township, William of Marion; Oscar of Daleville; Mrs. Susie Haines, of Indianapolis; and Mrs. Lottie Myers of Elwood. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Lottie Hinds of this city and three brothers, C. C., Silas and Shad Myerly. She was a long time member of the Baptist church and a good Christian woman who has many friends who will regret to learn of her death. The body will be brought to the Elwood Baptist church Thursday afternnonn, where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. McCoy, the burial following in the Pleasant Run cemetery.
