The Indianapolis News, Sat. Dec. 1, 1934 "Death Joins in Sleep of Baby Boys" "Death joined in the sleep of these two baby boys. Robert E. RAY, age five months, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest RAY, 1115 River Avenue, was suffocated early Friday as he slept in bed with his parents, bed clothing having been pulled over his head accidentally. Otha Lee SIMPSON, age two, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo SIMPSON, 1432 West Everett Street, was suffocated while sleeping in the rear seat of the Simpson automobile, en route home from Thanksgiving at an aunt's farm.
