The Franklin Democrat, Friday, September 8, 1899, Volume XL, Number 9, page 1, column 5
Miss Nelle FitzGibbon, daughter of David FitzGibbon, ex-county clerk, died Thursday
of last week at the home 
of her parents in Indianapolis, after a lingering illness of consumption.  Funeral
services were held Saturday 
morning from the residence of her aunt, Mrs. Margaret Peele.

Note:  The Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882-1920, referencing Book H-7, page 218,
records that Nellie 
Fitzgibbon, a 30 year old white female, died 31 Aug 1899 in Indianapolis.
