He weighed 340 pounds. For over 30 years he was a flagman at the Madison Ave. crossing of the J. M. & I. – Sun Additional Comments: Note:  The Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882-1920, referencing Book H-7, page 136, records that James Jackson, a 67 year old white male, died 12 Dec 1898 in Indianapolis.
