The Franklin Democrat, Friday, November 22, 1889
Mrs. Thomas Owens died at 7 o’clock on last Wednesday evening of typhoid fever, age
65 years.  
Mrs. Owens was a faithful wife and was liked by all who knew her.  The funeral
services were 
conducted by Rev. Frounfelter at the house.  She leaves a husband and a daughter to
mourn the loss 
of a dear wife and mother.  Mr. Owens is as helpless as a child and is not expected
to live long.  Mrs. 
Owens was buried on Thursday at the Crown Hill cemetery.
