Wife, Berniece Striebel, 6, Daughter Vernon Martin, 13, Stepson Additional Comments: Nannie Walters was the daughter of Parks B. Walters and Callie Sewell and was born on October 12, 1898, in Pittsburg, Laurel County, Kentucky. She married David Rad Martin on December 24, 1915, in Gray, Knox County, Kentucky. She bore David two sons Vernon Eugene Martin & Theodore Roosevelt Martin. Her husband David perisehd on October 22, 1918 in Corbin, Kentucky. Her son Theodore died sometime after David of meningitis and was reported to be buried with his father David in the John Dalton Martin Memorial Cemetery, Arapaho Trail, (formerly a section of Harris Road) Gray, Knox County, Kentucky. The widow Nannue Martin married Louis Benjamin Striebel on March 24, 1923, in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She bore him his sole child, Bernice Christine Striebel on December 15, 1923. Bernice called herlel BERNIECE during her life. Vernon Eugene Martin, entered the US Navy 5 years after this Census beginning his career as yeoman, and completing it as a Administrative Officer in the rank of Lieutenant, USN. Vernon married, Virginia Ruth Paterson, Mary L. Hamilton, Louise Sophia Stark and Lola Ann Mann. He had two daughter's with Mary Hamilton, and one daughter and one son with Louise Stark Nannie Walters, former widow of David Rad Martin) Vernon Eugene Martin was born in Gray, Knox County, Kentucky on September 18, 1916.
