Plymouth Republican, 8 Apr 1920
Etna Green News - Mrs. Emanuel Hepler who lives north of town, is in a very 
critical condition on account of a stroke of paralysis she sustained some days 
ago.  She was in the road near the home when the attack came and Mr. Hepler, 
fortunately, was near and caught her before she fell.  He called a physician 
and later secured a nurse, Miss Bryant, from Fort Wayne.  Her right side was 
paralyzed and her friends have no hopes of her recovery.
Plymouth Republican 8 Apr 1920: HEPLER, Bourbon, April 5 - Mrs. Emanuel Hepler 
died at 9:30 o'clock Sunday evening at her home seven miles northeast of town, 
following a paralytic stroke some time ago.  She is survived by her husband 
and two sons, Fred and Frank.  The funeral will be conducted at 11 o'clock 
Thursday at Stony Point.
