Plymouth Pilot 30 Sep 1924
Alfred Snyder of South Fifth street, passed away at three o’clock Tuesday 
morning, September 30, 1924, following an illness of several months.  Mr. 
Snyder was born in 1844 in Ohio and came to Indiana when eleven years of age.  
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriett Snyder, to whom he was married fifty-
seven years ago, and two daughters, Mrs. Howard Morris of Oklahoma, and Mrs. 
Ella Monesmith of this city, and one son, William of North Liberty.  Funeral 
services will be held in the Church of the Brethren church near Donaldson at 
eleven o’clock Thursday morning, Rev. J. F. Appleman officiating.
