Plymouth Republican, 23 Jan 1891
John L. Snyder, of this city, received a message from Summit county, Ohio, 
Tursday morning, announcing the death of his father, Joshua Snyder, aged 86 
years.  Mr. Snyder says his mother is still living, and that she was born in 
1802.  They seem to be a very hardy family and John has lost none of his 
remarkable strength and endurance by living among the Hoosiers.
