Plymouth Republican, 10 May 1894
Michael Snyder, departed this life May 3rd, at the home of his son Alfred, one 
mile south of Donelson, aged 76 years, 2 months and one day.  He was born in 
Schuylkill county, Pa., March 30th 1818.  He moved to Summit county, Ohio, in 
1834, and was married to Martha Whitsell, September 30, 1841.  To this union 
there were 10 children born, one preceding him to the spirit world.  In 1853 
he moved to Marshall county where he resided until his death.  He had been a 
member of the Dunkard church for twenty years and lived a consistent christian 
life.  Funeral held at the Dunkard church, west of Plymouth, May 5th.
