PLYMOUTH.

The county seat of Marshall county, on the Pittsburg, Fort Wayne & Chicago
railroad, eighty-four miles from Chicago and sixty-four from Fort Wayne. It has
several manufacturing establishments, good schools, several churches, and a good
representation of the different trades and professions; also, two weekly
newspapers, which are ably conducted and do much towards advancing the interests
of the place. Plymouth has a population of about 2500.
