Mrs.Malissa Franklin (Sullivan)
Age 88 years, passed away at her home110 south Elm St Saturday August 29 1953.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Martin Co. IN July 1 1865, te daughter of John & 
Pauline Sullivan. In May of 1880 she married Cutler Franklin, who has preceded 
her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Franklin & Harley Franklin, both of 
Loogootee, and a sister Mrs. Lilly Sullivan Adlam of Louisville,KY.
A son Clifford is deceased, and a daughter died in infancy.
Mrs. Franklin was a member of the Hindostan Methodist Church. Funeral services 
were conducted at the Hindostan Methodist Church, at 2 pm Monday with Rev. 
Frances Simmons in charge of the rites.
Pallbearers were Albert Berry, Ted Bowman, William Downey, Dale Franklin, 
Dwight Strickland and Junior Franklin. Internment was September 6.
