A pleasant and growing town in Miami county, situated at the crossing of the
Columbus, Chicago & Indiana Central and Indianapolis, Peru and Chicago
railroads, sixty-eight miles from Chicago and seven from Peru. It contains a saw
mill and several smaller manufactories has a good school house, a church, and
several stores. Its population is about 150.
