With the death of Mr. Dunnuck there has passed from among us another patriot who served his country valiantly during the civil war, he having been a member of Company L, 12th Regiment of Indiana Calvary. He enlisted for the service on the 12th of December, 1863, and was honorably discharged after the close of the war in 1865. The funeral, which will be held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, will be attended by the members of the G. A. R. in a body, the deceased having been a member of that organization. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Charles H. Smith, and the burial will be in Mount HOpe cemetery. The deceased was a native of Ohio, where he was born nearly seventy-nine years ago, his exact age being 78 years, 10 months and 28 days. He had lived in Peru and Miami county for many years, where he followed the trade, that of a carpenter. He is survived by an aged widow, Mrs. Hannah Dunnuck. Elisha Dunnuck, of west THird street, is a son.
