Denver Tribune 19 Dec 1918
George William Mowrey, son of George R. and Rosie Mowrey, was born at Denver, 
Indiana, ugust 5, 1902.  Here he spent most of his life.  About two years ago 
he went with his parents to Peru, where he lived until his parting.
     He passed from earth life December 9, 1918, after a ten days illness from 
influenza.  His sojourn here was short, he having lived but sixteen years.  He 
was a good boy and possessed a very pleasing disposition.  Always smiling and 
cheerful he was the inspiration of the home and a joy to all who knew him.   
He seemed to realize that the end was near and without a murmur he came to the 
crossing and quietly and peacefully passed over.
    He leaves behing on the shores of time, father and mother, two brothers, 
two sisters, and many, many friends both among young and old.....
